5.16.2006 - April / May KuroBox Contest is complete

We've completed our KuroBox contest for April-May. Check out the forums to vote on your favorite project, and to see the results. Voting will be open for 3 days (through Friday, May 19 at 5PM CST). We will announce the winners on Monday, May 22.

If you didn't get a chance to enter, but still have a great project, don't worry! We've immediately started another contest, and will run this one through July 1.

4.13.2006 - KuroBox/HG at $149, KuroBox Standard retired, Replacement parts

We have retired the KuroBox Standard. The standard was a great product, and we're sorry to see it go. All clouds have a silver lining, and the upside to today's move is that the HG is now priced at $149. Also, due to popular demand, we will start shipping a replacement parts kit for the KuroBox that will include: a fan, LED light-guides, and a faceplate. This will be available in the next few weeks. Don't forget to check out the contest and bounties; we've had some interest in both already, and would really like a nice turnout for these projects.

4.10.2006 - Website changes, Bounties, and Contest

Big changes today! We have changed the layout of the main KuroBox website (as you can see :) Also, we have added a bounty section to help spur development of features that the community wants. If that wasn't enough, we've started a new contest to promote innovation within the KuroBox community. Please participate, and let anyone you think might be interested know.

Also -- to those people waiting for the specs for the Kuro III (tentatively titled), you'll have to hold on a little while longer. We (corporate) don't want to publish any specs yet, while still in negotiation with vendors. Sorry for the wait, but I promise I'll get info up as soon as I can.
